i have had other fitness trackers, but this has got to be the best watch i have. i love being able to track my workouts, control my cell, and the seamless integration with my note 20 ultra.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First Smart Watch and I'm in Love!

i received this as a gift from christmas. my mother and i bought each other the exact same watch. i really love how the face can be changed, because i recently lost my cat too soon and i wear her on my wrist every day. it's bittersweet, but i love it. it notifies me of texts, which makes me better at replying to my text and also helps me keep in touch with friends and family. i like that it reminds me to get up every so often. i love how when you pull it off the charger, it gives you a star with a happy face that says it's 100%. it's the little things that add up to this being such a great gift. this watch also has the smallest watch face out of all the ones i have seen in a smart watch. also, did you guys know you can change the band? how much more personal can you get?
i had an old samsung watch that couldn't make it through a day anymore. is was slow , got half notifications, turned off at 50% ,i was ready for an upgrade. purchased the active 2 and i loved it ! i can finally track my sleep , battery is far more superior to my old watch fitness apps work great, ive had it for about 2 weeks and i love it so far. however, the one thing that drives me nuts .. duplicate message .. you'll receive a text 2-3 times. i researched it did all it said to do , turns out it's a bug in samsung that i hope they fix soon but i didnt have this issue with my old watch. you could have 1 message and get 10 different notification about that 1 message throughout a day. very irritating. but still a good upgrade choice . love the style of it too.
the watch is great on certain apps but does not work with other apps. one app keeps freezing and ended up uninstalling it. the particular app is why i really ordered the watch. battery life is good many watch faces hopefully updates will create a better experience with the product
on a side note:
ordered this together with the buds. the buds were not working and then returned the order. second order the watch was not working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great watch, great price!

this is a really nice watch for the price. plenty of watch faces and apps (free), plus looks and feels great. i have been through 3 fitbits over the years and returned all three because they were crap. the samsung galaxy watch active 2 is so much better and easier to setup and use and a lot of features and apps. the only con is that battery life is not so great. it's similar to the apple watch in that you will get a day out of it. also i'm not crazy about the tuck-in type band that seems to be overly popular these days. i prefer the traditional watchband the tucks in on the top, but samsung is probably one of the most comfortable ones and getting use to it.
i am forced via work to use ios. i understand ios being a closed system, allowing only interfaces what apple makes a public api. with ios can get notifications, make calls, control a music player, track health data, but health data does not go into apple health apps.
samsung artificially limits features to ios users. samsung claims compatibility issues with ecg and ios. ecg works totally on the watch. the health monitor app only enables ecg, backing up and sending the ecg to you healthcare professional. this could be implemented in the ios app, they choose not to.
i want ecg but am stuck with apple, so i use the watch standalone, initially connecting to my wife s20 to enable the features, but then disconnecting.
i would recommend for samsung phone users, not for ios users.
