Love our Bosch Hood!

It looks very sleek and stylish and the 8" exhaust ensures that all of our cooking smoke and smell gets cleared really fast! We ordered the extension because we have 10' ceilings and it looks amazing! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality hood!

Knife Marks on Vent Cover

I have the same issue as the previous rating of just one star. We’ve purchased a number of Bosch products for our new home - three dishwashers, the hood fan and a combination microwave and will oven - because we liked the quality of our previous Bosch dishwashers. This was a disappointment. To apply the logo, the outer wrap was cut with an Olfa or box cutter, which left scratches on the lower portion of the vent cover. To top it off, we had to buy an extension because we 10ft ceilings. When we started to unwrap the protective cover on the upper portion of the extension we found it was dented and there was no indication of damage on the box, so it had to have happened before packaging. This is very poor quality control that causes me to be concerned with our other appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy installation and ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit mounting methodology made installing the unit quite easy. The only issue i had was the stainless cover was to tall for my short ceiling kitchen so i had to have it professionally cut for the final phase of install, which i knew ahead of time was likely. Looks great, works great!
