Love the hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently remodeled our kitchen and we replaced all the appliances with Bosch appliances. This includes the refrigerator, dishwasher, duel microwave and wall oven, 36 inch gas cook top, and the wall hood. We been using the appliances for several months now and love them all; especially the wall hood. We can have several pots going at the same time and only have to have the hood set to the second setting. The stovetop has a wok attachment and we can have our cast iron wok at high heat and steaming or smoke and everything goes straight up and out. Not letting any smell in the kitchen. You can also control the hood fan, and lights from the Bosch app. When you turn on the light there is a beep that disturbs our dog and he hides in the closet and won't come out. But the great thing about this hood is it lets you turn off the been in the Bosch app. The Bosch hood is a focal point in our kitchen and gives it class.

Way too loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the bosch 500 series wall hood and assumed that it would be really quiet. BUT NO! The hood is NOT quiet and on the most powerful setting, I have to yell to be heard. I love Bosch appliances - just not this one.

Professional Hood

Problem with damper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the hood just fine except the damper keeps allowing cold air to flow into the kitchen. The contractor says there are 2 dampers and he installed correctly. I have found that if I run the blower on the maximum level and turn the blower off the damper closes better but the problem keeps coming back.
