Significant upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how this range looks in my kitchen! The controls are so easy to understand that I didn't have to review the manual. So far, it works great too!! I just have to remember to start preheating a good 15 minutes before I want to put something in the oven. (Which I think is the norm among new ovens)

The Range is everything we expected from Bosch and more. The stovetop is great and it cooks perfectly. The oven works great, is easy to use, and the temperatures are accurate.

It works well, but has its peculiarities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Bosch benchmark slide in range works well, however it does have a few oddballs features. The fifth burner Knob sits crooked due to a design flaw. The bottom warming tray has a touch latch and if you walk up to the oven and you touch the lower part of the oven with your foot the drawer extends out and will hurt you or trip you if you're not aware that it's opened, this is also a design flaw. The stainless steel pan below the burners cleans fairly well however, the aluminum rings around four of the five burners is nearly impossible to get clean.

Cooking with Gas

We cook and bake more often and this Bosch is perfect for what we need. Simple, but stylish and best of all it is a true slide in so no gaps for crumbs to fall into !

Great Range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this range. It is sleek in appearance, the stovetop is easy to clean, and bakes beautifully. I love the electronic touch screen with an ability to lock. However, the glass touch screen and interior oven glass window are both very difficult to get clean. The biggest complaint that I have is that the knobs for the range are so slippery that my dog was able to paw one of them (wanting to see what was smelling so good on top) and without my knowing, he turned on one of the burners full blast and I didnt notice it until the next morning. Thank God I didn't have anything on top of the range or there would have been a fire. As it was, the entire room was very hot when I entered the kitchen that morning and the overhead hooded vent was also very hot. Please Bosch, find a way to lock the gas stovetop knobs. I am very concerned about my grandchildren turning them on. Maybe make them lock or offer us safety covers for them so they can't be turned on by our pets or small children. This is definitely a hazard I had not thought about. Therefore, despite a generally great appliance, it does need some improvement so I had to give a 4 star rating.
