Bosch stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to tell you that I have had nothing but problems with my Bosch range. The oven would not close and has burnt the whole front of the stove. I would love to have the opportunity To purchase another one at a discount. I think my stove was defective.

An upgrade for me

Previously I had a Kitchen Aid base model gas range with the controls in the back. 4 burners and extra space in the oven are definite upgrades.
I will start with pros: In the oven, I've used broil, proof, bake, convection bake and convection roast. I am happy with all of them. Bosch claims excellent temperature control on the burners, which I can attest to. It's easier to clean than it looks. The streaks left by my dish rag are not very noticeable and I do not feel the need to polish every time. I love the push to open capability of the warming drawer. Cons: There is an incessant ringing coming from the control panel. Some times are louder than others. My previous oven made no sound at all. The range does not sit back up against the wall. There is about a 2 inch gap from the end of the range to the wall. The 3 racks that come in the oven are great but if you want to put something large like a roast in it, you will need to remove a rack (just a small inconvenience). Overall I would recommend this oven to someone else and I'm very happy with it. If the ringing went away I would give it 5 stars.

Upgraded our old stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My stove came damaged but that is not the reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. In general it is a very nice propane stove. I like that the oven heats up to temp really fast. I really like the sliding rack inside the oven as well. Everything seems easy to clean. The two burners in the back are a bit small but great for simmer. The discs pop off easy when cleaning the surface but easy to put back on. The writing on the digital interface is a bit small and it would have been nice if they made the words larger.

Still, that overly-sensitive digital front panel

I was so glad to get a new range, replacing one whose front panel was so poorly designed, just brushing it turned it on. I even told my salesperson I wanted to avoid the same issue. And now - my newbosch has THE EXACT SAME ISSUE - an overly-sensitive or poorly designed front panel that reacts and comnes ON when I am simply standing in front of it cooking. How iin the world does that happen? No one notices how terrible that is?

Wish I could say I love this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range in June 2019 and received it in July. In September 2019 the fan went on it. We called for service and Bosch was very easy to work with. We were able to get the fan replaced under warranty. In August 2020 the fan went again. Bosch was very nice and replaced the fan even though we were 1 month outside of our 1-year warranty as we had already had the fan replaced once. Then in May 2021, the ignitor went on the oven so we had that replaced. It is now January 2022 and the oven is not working again. As much as I want to love this range. I feel like we were given a defective range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great range and very attractive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop burners are spaced well to fit all your pots and the cooktop is easy to keep clean. The oven had to be adjusted for temperature to get the reading to match my oven thermometer but it as easy to do from the settings and I did it myself. Baking results have been perfect and the convection feature works perfectly.

It works well, but has its peculiarities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Bosch benchmark slide in range works well, however it does have a few oddballs features. The fifth burner Knob sits crooked due to a design flaw. The bottom warming tray has a touch latch and if you walk up to the oven and you touch the lower part of the oven with your foot the drawer extends out and will hurt you or trip you if you're not aware that it's opened, this is also a design flaw. The stainless steel pan below the burners cleans fairly well however, the aluminum rings around four of the five burners is nearly impossible to get clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
