liked my old Bosch

With the water softening added to this model, there are less water spots than before (yes, I alway use Finish). Cleaning seems similar. I do like the top tray for flat items. It is very handy and leaves more room for
The bad: Although rated as a quieter washer, it is much more noisy than my old dishwasher: especially when the water leaves the machine. The button on the door as finicky and often are hard to push. I preferred the time left on the cycle to be displayed on the door. The projection on the floor is adequate, but seems like a gimmick.

Yes, it is a little bit more expensive than others, but definitely worth the money. Your dishes will be spotless and cleaner than ever. :)

Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with this BOSCH SHP88PZ55N. We have an open concept house and this has been a Quiet addition to our space. It has allowed us to watch TV or have a conversation after meals without having to listen to an appliance. The only sound I hear is a faint trickle sound when the dishwasher is emptying. I love the layout of the dishwasher and the style fits perfectly into our home. Entire family loves it!

Crystal clean dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to relearn "how to" for doing dishwasher cleaning as I've been without a dishwasher for a few years. You do not have to "pre clean" or "pre rinse" before running load. Just make sure you keep an eye on filter. Dried/caked on foods gone! Excellent drying capability. The only negative comment is the owners manual that comes with dishwasher. It is vague & not complete. I've had to email BOSCH for clarification more than once and also a service tech that was at the house for a different appliance helped me with a dishwasher problem that was totally user error and not found in owners manual.

Excellent performance

It has only been 4 months since the purchase, so its long-term performance can't be assessed yet, but currently it rates as the best we've had over the last 30 years. Completely silent, washes and dries without any glitches. Don't have to spend 10 minutes drying dishes at the end of the cycle. Easy to use, and looks great. No hesitation - would buy again in a heartbeat if given the choice.

Better than we expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had always heard that Bosch was the "gold standard" for dishwashers, but not until we had one did I really know what that meant. It was very easy to install. As an engineer, I appreciated all the thought that went into the installation process. The method used for leveling the dishwasher was far better than any dishwasher I've installed before. It is spacious, with adjustable racks, which makes it easy to load. It's so quiet we have to check to see if it's even on! The dishes are actually "squeaky clean."
My only complaint was with the delivery. We were given a window of time for the delivery, but not until I went out to get the mail did I realize that it had been delivered to my driveway. Not a phone call, not a knock, nothing. I was just glad they got it to the correct house!

Washes Dishes/Pots and Pans like no other

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inset handle is the best way to go as it is flush to the face of the dishwasher. The extra cycles are a must as they offer more options for what the items you want to wash may need cleaning. The water softner feature compensates for hard water which makes for cleaner dishes and elimnates a scale problem. This dishwasher is super quiet and the light on the floor provides an update as to the progress of the washing cycles. Several programs options are easily programmable.

5 Star Dishwasher - Better than advertised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this to replace another in a long line of garbage big box dishwashers and it is miles beyond all of its predecessors. It is so quiet that you do not even know its running (but for the time remaining displayed on the floor). Dishes are spotless and dry when they come out. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and in our case we paid for clean dry dishes and we are getting what we paid for!
