Easy setup, does the job

I purchased this router to use as an access point to increase the range of my current wireless setup so that I could get better strength in my farthest room. The setup was easy and the strength has increased nicely. No issues.

Once I figured out how to program the device and set up a NetGear account I was on my way. I’ve hard wired my unit and mounted it in my man cave and the strong Wireless signal covers the entire backyard. So far I’m happy with its performance.

Easy setup

Was very easy to setup. Instantly connected to network, and was very able to setup. The settings also looked just like the settings on my Netgear Nighthawk Router so I knew exactly where to go for all the settings. The last time I attempted to switch a Negear router to AP, I ended up getting locked out of the router, and had to do a hard reset. This router did not give me any trouble at all.

hard to connect to

I could not get my system to recognize this device. I had to hire an IT tech to get my system and printers connected.

Good Access Point

The Access Point is very good. Easy to set up. Very good speed over a Cat-6 cable. Has very good speed on 5ghz at line of sight to transmitter. Recommended.
