We bought this based on picture quality, functionality and price. I have always considered visio as second rate until a few years ago I started noticing people's TV's and a vast majority were vizio. After asking how long they had it and how they liked it, the reply was always a positive one. The same quality and features on bigger name brands proved you were only paying for the name. Thank you vizio for making an excellent product at an affordable price.

bought this to upgrade to 50" & 4K in the "family room"...have always owned VIZIO products in the past so this purchase was a "no brainer"...set up was simple, picture quality excellent & apps were easy to access...my only recommendation is that the remote should be "backlit" so I can change apps, channels & settings in the dark...
shortly after, I purchased the VIZIO SB3651-E6 5K wireless soundbar to mate to the V505-G9 & the sound quality is UNBELIEVEABLE...pair this to your VIZIO TV & thank me later...

I switched from “58 Samsung to this Vizio and I LOVE IT!!! I highly recommend it. App response is amazing, literally almost no delay. The picture quality is AWESOME!!!
