Not what I hoped for.

I know several people who have this exact same television and have not had these problems. I have had so many problems with this unit. It constantly tells me that it can't find smartcast, it loses the internet connection a lot - right in the middle of watching it. The picture quality is sub par due to what I can only imagine is the connectivity issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello MStreb66, you should be able to have the SmartCast and app interface at all times as long as you are within an average range from your router and your network connection is stable. We’d really love the opportunity to have our tech support team run through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the TV up and running for you.
