Missing some basics

Wish I had researched a little more before I bought. TV will not turn on if you do not have internet. Is limited in the apps you can use, for example Disney+ was just made available last month. Lots of apps I want are simply unavailable.
Price was ok, picture is good when it works.
Also sometimes it will shut off and I have to plug/unplug the power cord to get it working again.

Hello MNGreggen, the television should turn on whether your television is connected to your network or not. If you decide not to connect it will work as a normal television. We’d really love the opportunity to have our tech support team run through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the TV up and running for you.
