I wasn't into smart tv's but I'm glad I got one. It gives my game systems a break with the TV having Netflix and Hulu and so many other applications.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Smart TV for price

I bought this as a gift in November 2019. It was not taken out of the box until a few months ago. I was so upset because the apps were not loading, nothing was working correctly. I did a hard reset and still nothing. I thought I was going to have to send it back! Out of the blue a couple of weeks ago the TV turned on by itself and everything worked. Now that it is working, we love it for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible mistake

Both brand new TVs died within a week. Same make and model. Meanwhile the older vizio that we've had for 4 years is still going strong and is now in the bedroom. Your quality has apparently gone down and we have gone with LG for our new 4K 50" TV for our main TV viewing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great for the price. system is slow

Got it a couple of months ago. Good picture, but it's cheapness is showing. Very slow to boot up first time and took like an hour for it to update and be usable via the updates it does over the internet. Also no signal strength meter for tuning your antenna. It had also glitched a couple of times on color, but turning it off and back on has fixed that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A lot of glare.

I bought this tv about a month ago, it has really bad glare if there is any light in the room.

Hello Hategolf, our televisions have a semi-gloss screen although this manages most glares it may reflect some light. For brighter rooms try using the ‘VIVID' setting for a brighter, more colorful image.
