The television does not receive the correct input when turned on and continually goes to a black screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Bill312, this behavior is odd for the television as it should display an image as soon as it is turned on. Best gift ever

My wonderful boyfriend got me this tv as a Christmas gift as I am a avid tv watcher and it’s been the best. It has a bunch of channels and apps programmed into it and it works flawlessly with my firestick. And I can control it with either remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this Vizio (my second) for the living room in an apartment. It is the perfect size. So easy to set up and clear, colorful, beautiful picture quality. And, the price was right too!
