I do not like how the TV is set up at all. We also bought a Vizio soundbar to go with it and the sound and the actual talking on the TV it's so off that I actually don't even use the soundbar. And the TV speakers suck. Both are a BIG waste of money..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WE BOUGHT THE TV SEVERAL WEEKS AGO AND ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR PURCHASE SO FAR. WE HAVE THREE VIZIO TV'S. ONE IS 9 YEARS OLD AND THE OTHER IS EIGHT YEARS OLD. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. THUMBS UP!!!!
