Upgrading, or so I thought, from a smaller Vizio with four HDMI ports, I didn’t look closely enough: only three, which is skimping nowadays (Blu-Ray, Fire stick, sound bar, cable box)... This TV won’t stay here long, & the next one won’t be a Vizio.

Hello eanderson, thank you for your feedback it is appreciated.
We bought this because it was supposed to be compatible with Amazon Alexa. It kind of is, but it works for a few weeks then looses that function. Resetting to factory defaults and then re-configuring worked two times, but now the TV only works with the smart phone Vizio App. All customer service says is to reset and try again. After 4 tries in one day I give up and it will go back to the store.

[Employee of vizio] 40" I thought would be too small, but this seems like a great use for a 2nd monitor to watch Netflix or use for a small dorm room. It's light weight and not too thick. 4k content really pops from the screen
[Employee of vizio] This is an affordable TV that still delivers a nice punch when it comes to style and performance. The picture quality is exceptional with vivid colors and crisp images. Definitely a great value!
I bought this TV for a secondary room, so I didn't need the top of the line model. I have the Vizio M50 in my den for primary watching and it's a great TV. But I cannot tell the difference between the M50 and the V505 other than the $200 in my pocket. Save some cash and get this TV.
