Just purchased and set up our new Vizio 50" Smart TV. A little challenging for elderly couple with little technology background but we got there! Great picture. Hope for many years of enjoyment.

Great Picture, Too Many Unnecessary Apps

I've been wanting a smart TV for a while, and my family has gone with VIZIO products in the past. I thought this would be great for my streaming. Add and delete apps just like any other smart tv. NOPE! I can't delete the plethora of unnecessary apps off the home screen. I don't use even half of them. It's great I can access other apps from my phone, but if I lost that or it was broken, I couldn't access for example HBO or YouTube since it isn't on the TV.
I do like the watchfree feature. It's refreshing being able to basically watch cable.

I just bought this TV today and it was so easy to set up. I am amazed at all the features and the colors. I will have to do another review after I have used this TV for awhile.

Great picture for the value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first turned it on the colors just popped off the screen. We ended up mounting this outside so it was perfect. I was worried it it was going to be bright enough but it was. I’m a bit disappointed that YouTube tv app was not on there as we use that instead of cable.

I just bought the tv a couple of days ago. It did take a long time for the tv to update. Picture is awesome. Sound okay. So far so good. Great deal for the price but time will tell.

I absolutely love the Vizio V-series 55' tv it well exceeded my expectations,! Ultra HD color spectrum is honest to goodness perfect! Equipped with automatic updates & features. Works with Google assist. & you can stream & more rright from your phone has hands free tv voice control. So exciting to be able to hook it up & within 5 minutes the apps installed on it start working immediately. it connected to my Wi-Fi services extremely fast and I was able to watch live TV on an app that's already. installed great sound wonderful picture quality very lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Visio 55 inch television from tryitsampling in exchange for my honest review. The tv is super easy assemble and set up. It was also very simple to connect. The picture is unbelievable.. it is very clear and looks real, like u are actually there. It was also very simple to set up my Alexa. I am very happy with this product. It I see the best tv I have ever owned.

Google Assistant isn't an option available

I bought this TV and on the box it advertised that it is compatible with Google Assistant. I tried setting it up and it is not an option that is available under Extras. Disappointing.
