awful, intrusive non-requested software upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this tv for many years. Last week they shoved a software upgrade to it that is so stupid it is beyond belief a company would do that. Operations that used to take two button pushes now take 8. Info is now missing. How this is considered an upgrade is beyond me. No opportunity to go back to the old version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sadly, ESPN has not yet created an app for the Vizio SmartCast TVs. However, you are able to cast or Airplay the ESPN app from your mobile device to the TV so long as both the mobile device and the TV are connected to the same network. Thanks!
