Glitchy But Very Nice Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a few years. It still works very well except for the smart features. I was only able to get it to connect to my Alexa app for a few months in the beginning. Then the app updated and I haven't been able to use voice commands since. Which is a main reason I bought this TV. I only ever watch TV while I'm doing artwork with both hands like sewing or knitting. And even when I do have the remote handy, the ok button rarely works when trying to pause or make a selection. This causes a lot of aggravation and I end up leaving the TV on pause or the home screen because I find it so difficult to do otherwise. So fairly early on in the life of the TV, it developed burnout. A dark area in the middle of the screen that's quite big. It's like a reverse vignette. It doesn't seem visible while watching TV but is extremely apparent on the home screen and on info screens.
Overall, I really love this TV and the incredible sound and picture. I just really wish it worked as it was designed to. I got it on a really good deal, otherwise I think I'd be super bitter if I paid full price for a TV that had features I couldn't use. Knowing the risk of these glitches, I'd still very much recommend this model if the sale is good.
