I was told by a couple male friends that Vizio is a quality brand name. I replaced an 8/y/o 28" TV so this is most definitely a gigantic step up.

Have Directv and the remote for the Vizio and our subscription go together nice and easy. I do not have to keep switching continuous to one remote to another except when in and out of my server (it's not great but easier than my other non-vizio tv). The picture is really vivid and clear. Also VERY pleased with the volume. We don't have to blast this up to 40 to just hear what's going on in a movie! So far, so good!

The first Visio lasted over 12 years
