Poor

So I’ve had this tv maybe two years… the tv randomly turns off or goes to a black screen.. the smart cast rarely works, the power button on the actual tv changes inputs instead of turning it on and off… the sound at level 100 is NOT LOUD at all… I lost the receipt a few days after purchases and was able to return… I love vizio … I have another flat screen vizio tv that isn’t a smart tv that I’ve had for 7 + years.. NEVER had a problem with it… this one is a nightmare… if I could have returned it and traded it in a would have…
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buffering Problems

I have problems getting kicked out of apps and streaming issues. I have had to reboot to factory settings and am constantly having problems in Smartcast. There’s too many apps. Peacock freezes and paramount drags while running in Vizio. I’ve contacted my carrier several times Spectrum. No issues with modem, internet, etc. They said contact Vizio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t work half the time

Bad buy

When it works without any glitch, it is a good TV. But I am running into problems everyday. First it was the sound, so I bought a sound bar, then the color started to bleed and flicker, so i unhooked my DVR, NOW it is not connicting to internet, or when I turn tv on it is blank.
I only had the tv for an year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was great - now not so much

I've had this tv for 2 years. The first year was great. Now it turns itself off every 3 minutes. I've rebooted it, set it back to factory settings, nothing is working. I have an other Visio tv that I bought in 2008 - it works perfectly.

Do Not buy if you have kids!

This is a horrible TV to get if you have children. Parental controls are non existent even when turned on. You don’t even get app controls. I can’t delete an app that I don’t want my kids watching.

Hello Sly Mommy, VIZIO parental controls can be set when you are using the tuner to receive your TV signals, such as when you are using an antenna for Over-the-Air signals or when connected to cable TV directly from the wall (no cable box). The devices must be connected using a composite video cable or a coaxial cable, such as a VCR, satellite or cable box, or DVR. Parental controls can be set for program ratings, locking certain channels, and unrated content. The developers of each individual app on the SmartCast platform determine the availability of parental controls and how they are adjusted.
