My first smart tv I have owned and I got to say it's pretty nice. I did have an issue with the sound not working in of the HDMI ports. I fixed this by rebooting the TV and the problem was solved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My vizio

I love my 50" 4k vizio.I Havre always bought vizio since the first time I ever bought one.this is the one time that I bought a vizio that has a problem.in the center and around the edge of half of the tv it is really white,I don't think it's vizio's fault though.I think it might have been the way it was handled during shipping.Ill never know,Aside from all that I have never had a problem with vizio,I'll just shop a little smarter next time. Thanks,James B

I love Vizio, and its products, but....

I bought this TV because of its listed features. The smart apps, the watch free feature, and most of all, because it was a Vizio. Shortly after I got the television, I noticed some small glitches, audio missing, or audio not aligning with the picture on the screen. I dismissed these as shotty internet service, and kind of just learned to live with it. Fast forward several months, I purchased another television, this one not a Vizio, although it has all the same features. I connected the television to my internet, which is the same as the internet I use on the Vizio. With this newer television, everything works PERFECTLY. No glitchyness, no missing audio, or mis-aligned audio. Just absolute perfection. So I decide to take it a step further. This time, taking my Vizio to a friends house to use it to watch a sporting event. We get it connected to his internet, and lo-and-behold, the same glitchy issues. Audio doesn't align, missing audio, and some apps don't function at all.
I have tried resetting the entire television, more than once. I tried rebooting, Updating. Nothing. Still all the same glitchy issues.
This TV was cheaper than others in the same size range, and now I completely see why.
Lucky for me I got a protection plan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

I’m extremely happy with all 4 of my Visio tv’s. My kids broke 2 in the past and 1 recently and my original turned out to get outdated years after I bought it. I stick by Vizio for gaming and movies. I just wish the screens weren’t easily cracked. So I’m down to 3 at the moment. Buy one you won’t regret it. Unless your kids are destructive.

problems

i purchased my 55" Vizio and within a year it went kuput. Vizio sent me a refurbished 55" tv. now i am waiting for Vizio to send me a brand new 55" tv to replace the refurbished one that they sent to me in replace of the one i purchased that went kuput within a year. i am really satisified with Vizio's customer service as all techs and supervisors is have talked to have treated me fantastic and helped me. as to their practice of replacing onrginally purchased tv that go kuput within the warranty timeline with refurbished tv, it stinks. again i am very sastified with Vizio's customer service and when my tv is not screwing up, i really am satisfied with the picture and operation of it.

Tv will randomly go mute and has to be unplugged or reset to fix.
