One problem

I can't find a way to get it to change from 480 viewing. I've searched EVERYWHERE in settings and it will not allow me to change inputs...so viewing from my cable box (which reads 1080 right now) is only coming across as SD viewing on my brand new vizio. I'm not concerned about the 4k...I just want to watch my basic tv shows in HD...not SD...and this fantastic new tv SHOULD allow me to do that...or find the settings to change this.
I'm very upset

Terrible TV. I have owned this TV six months and I am forced to reboot daily. Lately the SmartCast TV is not available so I’m unable to use the TV at all. Something told me I should have stuck with LG or Samsung but I’ve had Vizio in the past and could not pass up the cheap price but I guess it’s true…you get what you pay for. I HATE THIS TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy with my Vizio tv. It has many features. I love being able to stream from the many apps. The color is amazing.

It’s a nice setup, but it has not been functioning properly since I purchased it. Lots of lagging, trouble loading the pre-installed channels, etc.
