Perfect TV on a budget!

We bought this TV a few years back. Awesome TV to game on or watch movies. The apps need a little tweaking? Some apps are missing. But you can SmartCast or use a different device like we use a Xbox as our multimedia device. In the future we are going to be upgrading to the Vizio M series or P series.

So far so good. Tricky to set up. Daughter - in - law did. At first we thought we were sold a floor model that we couldn't set up by the remote. Finally figured it out. It is a shame that things aren't plug and play nowadays.

decent tv, subpar platform

i bought this a month or so back and immediately i was impressed with the visuals. 4k stuff looks great. the smartcast platform, however, is trash. from the inability to customize anything beyond what order the excessive amount of preinstalled apps show up in, to the inability to add new apps like hbo or discovery+, to their insistence that chromecasting from your phone is the same quality as running the app on the tv, and that's not even getting to the updates. vague. no information or release schedule. also as of july of 2021, the updates mysteriously erased the equalizer function on their tv's, and nobody here at vizio seems to even acknowledge it. i'll keep this tv as long as it takes me to save up for a roku or hisense tv, eff this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 3rd Vizio television and I couldn't be happier. The overall quality is excellent. I also have a Vizio sound bar that is connected to this TV to complete the experience. Great products and excellent customer support!
