I have owned Vizio Tvs in the past with great satisfaction. It is not so with this one. Limited app selection, no web browser capabilities, sound and picture signal often requires unplugging when switching between inputs due to loss sound and picture. Remote is not programmable for use in place of cable remote. Lastly, I just put it up though I purchased it a few months ago, so no return option. This apple has fallen far from the tree.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello NT2NICE808, This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. While the TV remote cannot be programmed as a universal remote, typically the remote from your cable provider is programmable. If you’d like any help taking advantage of all the options VIZIO has to enjoy your content or for assistance with audio and video loss, our customer service team would be happy to speak with you at 844-254-8087.

I hate this tv

This tv won’t load apps, the Home Screen just gives you a QR code to register it. There is no way to load new apps so you are stuck with the six that are on the remote. It also won’t work with my sound bar.

Can you give us some additional details about the issue you are experiencing with your sound bar? Is it a VIZIO brand sound bar? When on the home screen, typically you can press the Back or Exit buttons to remove the registration bar code from the screen. I bought a TV and after 4 days the volume was not able to be heard. I returned it and purchased a different brand of TV. Shame your product has not been up to par.
