I have had this TV about a year and I have a smaller model and it's not near as good.

Great TV. Easy hook up, beautiful sound and picture, easy to use, great apps, free tv stations, tons of apps, web surfing available, voice controls, etc. I definitely recommend saving a few dollars and going with a VIZIO!

Picture seems a bit washed out

I just bought this TV after having really good experiences with Vizio, both with a 32" and 24" sets. This one, while the picture is sharp, the colors seem a bit dull. I will be called tech support to try to resolve the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. I upgraded to this from an 40” 1080p Vizio. The time was right and now I can see what makes 4K so great!

Purchased this larger TV in hopes my mother would be able to see everything better. Well I love it for myself as for mom she still can't see things well enough. Her eyes are just that bad. My brother has two of the same exact TV's in his home he loves his also.
