Very Few Apps

The TV is great but really has very few apps and you can install new ones
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello TML1967, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Easy to get to movies and shows!

This TV was very easy to hook up, and I love that it works really well with my Google Assistant. It took me a minute to figure out how to get to regular TV, but when I did everything works seamlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV BUT....

Great TV for price, color and most features... all that is missing is being able to add applications straight from TV. if you don't see the app you want... you have to download the VISIO app... if the app is there... great easy add... but if its not... then you can't add the app and you have to stream from your phone to your tv... which again for the price we got it for... not a deal breaker... but i can see how it could be irritating.
