It shows pictures okay, but......

Sometimes when I turn on the TV, it makes a loud short second static sound before the picture and sound comes on. And when I am trying to type in the title of whatever it is I am wanting to watch on one of the TV's app. It lags. I had to purchase another remote with individual letters on it just so that I can be able to type in a specific show I want to watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tv won’t cast any movies from any apps.

I bought this tv a couple weeks ago and have had nothing but issues with it. It will not cast anything outside of its own watchfree app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice TV but....

I brought this TV almost a month ago and although it's nice, I think it could be better by letting users download their own apps on the TV. I was so upset when I had to use the ones that they provide. They could update their lineup to include more of the popular apps

the smartcast is limited to only the United States
it is a very small company

The Visio TV sets itself up. All you need is your network password and those of your streaming services.

My husband bought this and I didn't know about the smartcast so I was very doubtful about keeping it. We got internet and we have enjoyed it since we have had it!
