The only thing the setup shows a time stamp as 2015. so did i buy a old model it's 2021?

We put our 65' up on wall ,looks great! This lite up the entire family room .We always watch tv in this room now!

tv goes to smart cast when watching regular tv, has lines going thru it so hard to watch always has to to unplugged and reset at least once a week

I have 2 other viso tv. The picture is awesome, this 65 inch picture is just okay, not nearly as good as the others. So I am disappointed in this quality. Having the other 2 viso tv with great picture is great but for me this 65 inch was not worth the money. I do not have box anymore or I would have returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. I just brought this smart tv 2 weeks ago. I'm almost 50 years old. I think I need a technician to learn to operate this 50 inch Vizio. That should explain slot✌️
