Love the size, however it keeps going blank

The size fits prefect on our wall, however, for no reason at all the tv will go black and we will have to turn it off to reset it. This will happen at least three or four times a week and when you are watching a programe it is agravating. Color is great, connections are pretty decent also. Sound is a bit weak.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When purchasing this model and size we were happy and excited to see what it was capable of doing. After installing and viewing the images, to my opinion the quality of picture is poor, not like those enhanced TVs out there. Just basic on some channels and movies, also have to include the sound. Sounds super low u actually need a great sound at with bass bottom to do it’s magic. Over all we wish we did more research on this brand and it’s qualities.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087. For top of the line audio performance, you may also look into purchasing a VIZIO Sound Bar, there are several models available with wireless subwoofers for enhanced bass, rear speakers for true surround sound, and our new line of Atmos Sound Bars.

Unable to add new apps

The only downside to this tv is you are unable to add new apps. We have researched it online and haven’t been able to find a way to add new apps. Other than that, love the tv.

Decent TV Just have a problem with the response of the TV with the remote - volume is pretty difficult to adjust at times. Also this model has “frozen” twice and has to be physically unplugged to be able to be reset

Hello Buck1970, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
