Doesn't always power on propertly

I bought model V705-G3 for Christmas 2019 so I have had it just over a year. For the past 3 months when I power it on the TV won't respond to the remote requests, instead I get a pretty screensaver and either nothing else or an error code 6. At the same time this started I keep getting on screen demands that I "register my Vizio" product, and a suggestion that I "reboot" the tv to factory settings. I have all of my paid subscriptions loaded (netflix,hulu,amazon) and wifi set up. I Should Not have to start this all over again.
The TV also keeps 'timing out' when streaming, other devices are not doing this such as my Laptop when streaming so I do not agree with Vizio's explanation that the problem is on the end of the Network.
I'm disappointed, I have always purchased Samsung previously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture Good Sound

I broke a very expensive 50" Vizio Quantum M series and when I got over being sick about it I and couldn't replace it because that model was sold out everywhere,I did the comparison of the two and did not see that much difference. Having found a great price on the V-Series bought it. It is very similar and much less expensive so I appreciate the value. If there is a difference I would say it is in the sound volume, but with a little patience and work I was able to adjust the sound to my liking without blasting the volume.

I had this tv for 2 weeks and the volume button on the remote had a 12 second delay so I has to youtube a quick fix and set tv back to factory settings and that fixed the problem so and time will tell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great picture, okay sound, weird audio sync issues

Bought this item a bout a month ago. Everything seems fine with it. The airplay is a bit choppy as to be expected but when using Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. The ausio seems to be out of sync whether using native speakers or a set of Audioengine speakers. A bit irritating at times but seems to be fine with video games.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Blaak, sorry to hear that you're having trouble. That's not at all the experience we'd like for our customers. Typically, a lip sync issue can be narrowed down with troubleshooting. If the lip sync is off while watching content on your favorite apps, that indicates that we would want to troubleshoot network connections. If the lip sync issues only happen on cable or satellite boxes, we will then want to troubleshoot settings on each individual device. For that troubleshooting we will typically start with the TV, moving to any VIZIO audio devices if used, and then finally to the cable or satellite box.
