This really is a great TV

This TV is great, but let's talk about the reason why I gave this a 4 out of 5. I'm a practical person and some of the responsibility of how electronics work lies squarely on the user. I had some trouble when casting to the TV where the TV went black and I couldn't figure out how to get out of it. I turned off the TV and turned it back on and still a black screen. I very seriously considered returning it to the store, but thought that I should try looking at the manual online or check forums to see if others experienced it. Lo and behold, others had experienced a similar issue and unplugging the TV and updating the firmware actually fixed the problem. All the casting and use of the TV ever since has been just fine. This is a weird issue and I don't know exactly what causes it, but the fix is perfectly doable.
As far as the colors, screen, and viewing experience--it's great. The TV works--outside of the thing I mentioned above--just fine. It was a great deal as well. The price is completely reasonable for what you get, even a good deal!

HAVE HAD TO REBOOT SEVERAL TIMES

The picture and sound are fine, but I have had at least 3 occasions in the past 2 months where I had to go into the settings and manually reboot the TV with the remote. I'm just waiting for the time that does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
