Great TV, limited apps

Vizio's advertising shows the HBOMax app as one of the built-in apps in the SmartCast row of apps that come with the TV. Per Vizio support, this app IS NOT built-in and has to be cast to the TV using ChromeCast. The same is true for ESPN but at least that app is not listed as one that is built-in. Also, every app that is available is present in the SmartCast row of apps. You can't add any OR remove any. Most of these apps I'll NEVER use but I can't remove them. The TV itself is great. Might end up using it as a dumb TV and hook up my AppleTV to HDMI.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this a couple of weeks ago and I've gone from not being much of a TV watcher being quite the binger
I'm pleased overall very much with the purchase. I need to play around a little bit with some of the settings as extreme dark settings and movies that have been streamed seemed to be a little washed out and don't appear natural but I'm sure that's in some of the picture settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!
