Different and hard to get use to

Needs more instruction on how to set up and get started with smart cast. Can you add more apps? How do you add more apps? I should be able to pick and choose what apps I want.
When I opened it the batteries were dead so I couldn't set it up until I bought more and the buttons on the TV do not work, so I need the remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!
