Seems this television has issues with the initial set up. I have read thousands of reviews all saying this same issue. Yet when you search for the resolution you get general reboot information from the vizio and sight and that's it. I had to use a techgeek sight to finally resolve the setup issue. Mostly the issue is with the remote not programming from setup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's doing Great, the picture is not better than the Vizio TV I replaced with this one. The last Vizio TV was not a 4K, but had a better picture. Got it February 2016, it died 1st week of May 2020
