Great tv

Do far so good . Had purchased a Samsung about 4 months before and the sound started going out.. researched the issue and turns out I should have read a bunch of reviews because the sound issue has been going on thru the series 4 5 and 6 and it's hardware related not a patch fix.. so I had owned a Visio several years before that lasted 8 years so I opted to get a new Visio and donated the Samsung to the needy.
Hope this one lives up and last .

A worthy upgrade

Had been looking to replace a smaller Vizio. The combination of price and features won me over. So far so good. Enjoy watching football on a bigger screen.

I was recently looking to upgrade to a 65" 4K Smart TV. After looking at all available options I found the VIZIO V655-G9 had the options I wanted at a price I couldn't pass up. The specific feature I was looking for was an analog audio out; I know this is older technology but it was exactly what I needed to use existing stereo equipment I'm not ready to upgrade. The smart interface is adequate but not as nice as some other brands I have used. The picture quality is great for my use, streamed and OTA; children shows, news, and sports.

i’ve had this television for a couple of months and I’m still discovering things there’s so many built-in things to use on here it’s a little overwhelming you find channels you never heard of things that table doesn’t offer millions ways to get entertainment and all you need is an Internet connection almost every channel has an app so you just use the apps

Poor construction

I've been through 3 of these (my mother's) The power supply went out in the first. The second one came with a cracked screen. The third works, but the screen has a line running through it, and the bezel keeps coming off - just seems cheaply made, but maybe that's what they have to do to achieve this price point
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
