I bought a vizio smart tv and the SmartCast is blocked by region, which makes the television useless, the applications enabled for Latin America cannot be displayed in the smartcast menu either, pluto tv that is already enabled for the region appears blocked, unlike of my LG Smart tv, I think that you should check the handling of the Smart menu for the on-screen display and the applications that if blocked do not run, but do not block all the smart TV functionality of the television, a great disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought and loving everything so far except for the sound. Will be calling soon to see if it can be fixed. Almost sounds like a speaker is busted and it's brand new.
