This is my 3rd Vizio TV, and the largest too.. I have not had any issues with them before. I just pass them down and go bigger.

I bought this TV because I currently own a Vizio 32 inch TV that I purchased over 10 years ago. So. I upgraded to this 50" Vizio because of my experience with my 32 inch Vizio's reliability. The picture quality is not as lively as my 42 inch LG TV that I had before its screen started flickering; so I decided to get another Vizio based on Vizio's reliability.

Great picture! Optic cable jack should point down.

Couldn't download any other apps

The picture was good. The only problem I had with the tv is that what apps were pre-loaded on the TV that was it. I could not download any other apps to it. What smart tv doesn't offer Sling?! I returned it because I couldn't customize the apps I actually use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.

I’m very pleased with this tv actually with Vizio in general! It’s very user friendly (I don’t know how to use most other smart tv’s) I’d been using an iPad to watch tv finally upgraded to a tv and I’m pleased with my choice!
