I bought this TV around 11/1/2020. So far the experience has been great. There are plenty of apps that help with the viewing experience. Popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube are to be found on the TV as well as slew of other apps that I have never heard of, but they are a welcome addition since they are free and are easy to use as well. The TV has HDMI 2.1 which is great for those new gaming consoles as well as upcoming devices that can benefit from this. I believe its HDR10+ if I'm not mistaken, but it does run natively at 60Hz, but as far as I am aware it can push 120Hz when it needs to. I do recommend a sound bar since the speaker ports aren't that great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Vizio - a TV for the year 2000 in 2020

I am amazed that your Vizio TV has so limited features. I have a TCL 55" 4K Roku TV that is 4 years old, and it has very nice features for those who still want to use an antenna instead of just streaming everything. Consider updating your OS to include such nice features as a TV guide that shows you, Not Just the program currently showing, but a LIST of programs that is being given FREE by the broadcast channels. My TCL, with ONE PRESS of the left arrow button, will bring up a COMPLETE TV Channel guide that includes at least 8 hours of programs, on EVERY channel added by channel scan. Also, my TCL TV uses a 32gb USB memory stick to provide a sort of mini-DVR where I can rewind up to TWO HOURS of the program I am currently watching. All the Vizio does is allow me to see pictures saved to the USB stick... (which is what my 8 year old LG 47" TV did back then...) Remember, the TCL TV is 4 YEARS OLD and gives these features. It is light years ahead of your VIZIO TV as far as being able to satisfy antenna TV users. I strongly recommend that you consider adding these features to your tv's. Other than that, the picture quality is ok, I think the TCL beats you there also. I hope I didn't make a poor choice in purchasing this TV. My TCL has 4 HDMI ports also, and this one has 3. It is deficient in just about everything compared with a 4 year old TCL 4K 55" TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have been a fan of visio for awhile. Own 3 other ones and a surround sound.
