Let me start by saying my last Vizio tv (bought in 2014) is amazing!!! It still works really well except the apps don't update so I can't use them which is why I got a new tv also so I could use Apple AirPlay. I bought this TV a little over a month ago and have already had to contact support. The overall tv is nice when it works. The Apple AirPlay is awesome. The colors are great and when it works it's fantastic, although the sound is lacking a bit.
The problem with this tv is about 2 weeks after I got it, the apps refused to open unless you pressed the preprogrammed buttons on the remote which only gives access to a few apps. This lasted for about a week then suddenly the tv did a software update and the apps returned to working. Then a week later - almost 30 days from my purchase date - the sound stopped working. No reason. I turned it on and no sound. I restarted the tv, unplugged it and did everything that was suggested to do online. NOTHING! Then I resorted to doing a factory reset and the sound restored, but I had to re-set up everything! This is really concerning for a tv that's a little more than 30 days old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy I got the tv this was my second, recommended it to my sister and then bought it for her, she likes it too!
