I needed a 4K TV of a certain physical size to replace a Vizio that had decided it didn't always want to respond to the remote or the buttons on the side. This was the only issue I've had out of the many Vizios I've owned, and I'd gotten a number of years of service out of the TV, so I was happy to purchase another Vizio.
I did look at other brands, but (a) couldn't find the feature mix I wanted (including analog audio outputs) and (b) I couldn't find anything that was the right physical size to fit in the entertainment cabinet.
So, I had exactly one choice of product to buy...and everything turned out great. The picture is stunning, the audio is accurate and I enjoy the interface. The audio outputs actually sound better than those of the Vizio I replaced, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm in the media business and really appreciate the quality of the sound and image of this Vizio.
I purchased a refurbished unit and it looked absolutely like new. The unit was packaged exceptionally well, which is unheard of for a refurb product.
I don't often say it, but so far (only a couple weeks out), I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
I recieved this tv for my birthday/anniversary. Within 3 weeks, the volume button doesn't work. Vizio helped me troubleshoot and sent me new remote. New remote does not work. The tv stops in the middle of a program and goes back to home screen frequently. So I cannot watch a full program or adjust volume without a hassle.
