Vizio 40" has no buttons on TV

Must always find remote. Hope I never misplace the remote or it gets broken!. Why is there no on/off, volume, channel control?
Also, must be directly in front to view. Can't even see screen at 50° view, left or right side.

Hello bouncers, this television does have a power, volume up and down and a input button on the back panel of the television of the right side.

Hello bouncers, the television has a power, volume up and down and input button on the back of the television on the right side. You can also pair this with the VIZIO SmartCast app on a mobile device for a full function remote control.

Horrible Audio

Horrible audio, and that’s about the best thing. Very few apps available. Took it back and got my money back.
