I bought this a couple months ago and I’m really happy with it. Not used to a smart tv but getting more used to it now that I understand more about it. The only thing I am not impressed with is the volume. It doesn’t seem as smooth and loud as what I am used to, even on my old Vizio. Tis life.
I was really excited about getting a Vizio because I've known them to have easy screen casting, but this one keeps giving me trouble. Even the Air Play would not connect, and we don't have old phones. So I guess I'll give either send it back or give it to my parents who don't screen cast much. Other than the fact that I can't add the apps I want like for watching amine, it's an OK tv, and it shows great.
I replaced an older 32" 720P Vizio unit that I purchased when LED system first came out at a much higher price than I purchased my V405-H10 for. I waited until I could find a 4K unit that was a size I could put on the same wall mount that my 32" system used. In fact did not purchase it for the larger size. Also purchased the Vizio V51-H6 36" 5.1 Channel Home Theater Soundbar System which took it to the next level of viewing experience, and the combined price still came in under what I purchased the 32" 720P TV set for those many year ago.
This is the 4th Vizio in the house, which already tells a lot about the quality and performance. Just can’t beat the price/quality ratio! In general TV (SmartTV) interfaces have a way to go, but this is one of the best. I really like the format, however it lags and doesn’t quite do all of the things I want. Probably because I’m spoiled by the AppleTV. We use AppleTVs with all of the VIZIO TVs in the house, so the built in SMART TV interface isn’t really important to us. But I did think it was the best so far after testing it.
I bought this a week ago and have done all the trouble shooting steps on the website and cannot use any of the smart features, none of the apps work whether I’m connected to WiFi or ethernet cable, all I can do is use my Xbox and put it on game input, defeats the point of it being a smart TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
