Difficult to setup with no WiFi

This tv was purchased because of the size, price and reputation of Vizio. The salesperson said nothing about setting up without WiFi availability. It took over 12 hours of trying to get this setup without a network. There are NO instructions on setting up without WiFi/network. It works ok (for the price) now that we finally figured it out... picture could be sharper, but is probably due to watching on zoom feature so that frame is filled. Adjusting sharpness is ineffective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros: Price is right, Watch Free app Cons: Picture is poor and color is too bright and washed out. If you try to adjust the contrast it dims it but doesn't improve the clarity. Picture definition is about that of a TV 15 years ago. The TV has to be rebooted when you switch between streaming and regular cable and sometimes when you turn the tv on - there is sound but no picture until you reboot either through the menu prompt or by unplugging and replugging the TV. Also there is a delay and stutter in reception when changing channels. And while others have stated they had issues with sound / sound quality I did not. Also, others had stated that there is no way to download apps - I have not yet verified this but if that is true then that is just another negative with this unit. Although the price and specs appeared to be favorable there are just Too many CONS vs PROS to recommend this TV.
We bought this TV a week and a half ago during the Christmas season and got a great price on it. Our first Smart TV, we've bought Vizio TV's in the past and they are a great value with great features. We signed up for the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ Subscription. The 4K is amazing, watching the Mandalorian. We love this TV and would recommend it to friends and family. I don't see an ESPN+ App, still need to look into that. We may just need to download it on there.
The price and quality was perfect. I am so amazed and happy with my Vizio TV purchase. I am in love with the features and how easy it is to use. The image is clear and precise. The best TV I have ever had. I would definitely buy again.
