Of course you can get a TV that's either got blacker blacks (OLED, etc.), higher resolution (ultra-mega-4D nonsense), more limitless feature set (smart enough to do and turn in your kid's homework, so he can stay focused on important stuff ... like what's on TV), or that's a smidge cheaper or way way more expensive. Those are all outliers. If you're just looking for a great picture on a big ole screen, with tons of streaming options out of the box and more coming in OTA all the time, with much better sound than something so thin ought to be able to produce, that's as easy to set up and operate as it is reliable and affordable, then take my advice. We created our spreadsheet laying out all the specs. We visited the five different stores, gawking at and comparing at least a dozen makes/models and prices. This Vizio was easily the overall winner on paper and on display. And a year later, we still couldn't be happier with it.
