Took me buying 3 TVs at 2 different stores before I got one that actually worked. That was incredibly frustrating. Especially right now when covid19 is all over and we’re supposed to be limiting our trips to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok TV. Misleading

Just purchased my new smart tv today. I don't have cable but stream like most people seem to be doing. I'm not real thrilled that I'm unable to download an app to watch tv that isn't already pre-loaded onto the TV. Sure, I can mirror from my iPad, smart phone etc, but this doesn't help if I'm not home and someone is housesitting for me? So far I'm unimpressed.

Hi saseavoy! VIZIO SmartCast TV's have chromecast technology and Apple AirPlay 2 features to help customers get the apps they want, when they want to watch it. These features are different than mirroring as your device is telling the TV to go to the service and play the video. This can be done by anyone who is on the same network as the TV from a phone, tablet, or computer.
