Wonderful TV for the Price

As long as you dont over shoot your expectations you will love the TV. The viewing angle is poor but again for the price its acceptable. Its bright and clear when viewing directly. The apps run smooth from the TV. Only gripe I have with my unit it has one stuck pixel bottom right corner, and its stuck on green of all colors :(

Good picture

I bought this tv thinking I needed another one since my older Visio was blinking and cutting in and out. After I got the new one and put it up and got it all set I took the older one down to the shop and decided to give it a good cleaning. With my air hose I blew out all the dust and decided to try it before scraping it out. But with my wonder I turned it back on and it has a clear good picture again. So now I have 2 Visios. I guess this one will go camping with now in my motor home.

This tv has an interesting way of giving you exactly what you need with it's own unique way of delivering such luxuries. As a sales person at a retailer of such line of televisions and other brands of similar type and remnants to this specific model, I can say that the appeal towards Vizio does a great service through the smart features that are available with the tv. The mere inclusion of little functions such as universal remote control that can use smart HDMI ports to power up external devices that are simply plugged in to the tv blew my mind immensely. Then not to mention the fluid picture that makes watching my usual TV shows and movies look almost as if they were crafted cinematically takes the 4K picture and overall Ultra HD perks to a new level. I could not be more pleased.

Display is nice, but SmartCast will not work.

The whole reason we bought this TV was to use SmartCast versus needing to use Roku. When I set it up, SmartCast will not work. The support site says there is a known issue, and they are working on it.
I would not recommend this TV if you need SmartCast, at least until they get this fixed. Also, we have an older TV (about 1 year old), where SmartCast is still working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
