poor black uniformity

After weeks of research I bit the bullet on this model because of its features and supposed black uniformity. Unfortunately I wish I hadn't. My whole experience has been a nightmare from damaged deliveries to replaced panels. Let me first say the picture minus the black levels are incredible. If you are in a bright scene with no dark areas around the corners then you are going to love what you see. The moment you start going into the dark scenes you will see spotlighting. I had plenty of lcd's, led's and moved onto a plasma. Since the format is dead I went back to led because the problems I had with them were supposedly fixed.
The reviews for this model were amazing and all gloating about the black uniformity. My model is the complete opposite. I attached two pictures of the same scene. The first is from my original panel and the second from the new panel a tech installed. The new panel is better but there iare still problem spots. One spot on the bottom left where the led is so visible that I have to turn hdmi black to normal, dynamic contrast to off and backlight down to 6. This helps a little but the light still shines through. The top right is patchy where the led are. Its not as bright and vibrant as the lower left led but if the scenes dark on the right and light on the left the problem appears.
I know some people will say its not that bad but this is a tv that is top of the line, not a low end model from a competitor. There shouldn't be any flaws, period. I should have waited for this years model because I'm sure these problems are fixed but now I'm left with a TV on my credit card that I wish I never bought.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, led visible throughout, only 120hz

We have this large screen SMART TV for about 11 months... asolutely fantastic product... the only thing I would suiggest to imporve is its Internet browser... it is good enough but has a limited number of features to set.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This TV does not really support full 4k@60hz. Only low chroma (blurry)

In the specifications and menus, the HU8700 is support to support 4k resolution at 60hz with 4:4:4 chroma. Unfortunately, it only supports 4:2:2. This means each color pixel is actually spread across 4 pixels. If you plan on plugging this TV into a computer, you will never get a good quality picture above 30hz (see the photo to see what color text looks like). This means you can either have a slow laggy screen, or unreadable color text. Worst of all, this TV is clearly claiming to be capable of 4:4:4 at 60hz. I am using a PC with a Nvidia 9800 Video card that does support 4:4:4 60hz 4k (full hdmi2) and an HDMI 2 video cable.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

huge moution blurr problem

This tv is good for someone how dont watch sport. I am sport fun and i struggle with big moution blur!!. I don know whot to do with it.

I have no regret to buy this curved TV, it's amazing. Our family enjoy watching TV programs every corner of our living room. The color quality is so crispy clear. We have many product from Samsung and we are proud too.

The picture quality is exceptional. Combining it with the Samsung upscaling Blu-Ray player and sound bar makes everything easy to operate with minimum remotes. Great value.
