steam clean is a fail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the steam clean after a few weeks of use. I put the water in, hit the steam clean button and the okay button. It got warm, but not hot. Timer alarm after 30 min. No steam but warm water, cleaned nothing. The oven walls were not even hot, just warm. I turned the oven up to 300 for 10 minutes, then wiped it out. That cleaned it but required some scrubbing to get grease off.

Thank you for sharing your experience! The Steam Clean feature should heat the oven cavity to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and set a timer for 30 minutes, during which the water poured inside will steam up to loosen light soil in the oven so it can be easily wiped away. Please ensure that the oven is cool when you begin and the door is not opened during this process. If the oven appears to be consistently too cool for the temperatures you are needing, it can be recalibrated using the instructions on page 37 of the Owner's Manual (http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Springfield/A13080901en.pdf). Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this range to replace a 20 year old one. We are very happy with it. Front burners are nice and big for quick heating and cooking. The air fry feature is easy to use and works great. Center burner and supplied griddle are nice extras we didn't think we would use much. Turns out we are using it quite a lot. Nice heavy duty grates cover top of burners, making it easy to move pots around when cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range is very nice. Stove top is adequate. Grates are a little uneven. Seems to lose time on the clock daily. Don't care for the awful mess it makes when you use the air fryer. I'm glad I didn't purchase this product for full amount, I would've returned it, promptly.

Oven Doesn't Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first time I tried to use the oven, it did not work properly. It turns off automatically during the preheat cycle and none of the digital controls work until the temperature cools down. Fridigaire sent a serviceman out immediately to diagnose the problem and two replacement parts were ordered, but they won't be available for another two weeks. In the meantime, the appliance store has refused to intervene with a replacement, since there is an open ticket with Fridigaire. It is discouraging to buy a new product and have to wait 6-8 weeks to actually be able to use it.
