New stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We updated our kitchen with the Frigidaire gallery set. I think it is very cool that the oven/stove offers convection and air frying but I have not taken the time to learn how to use these features, yet. 2 pieces of critique would be a smaller storage drawer at the bottom as a consequence of the added features, and the black unremovable stove top; it is a bit of an effort to keep it looking nice, as any spill or splashes get cooked on unless cleaned right away. It is a slide-in stove which looks very nice.

I have used a gas range/stove for 25 years.The good-love the look, the stove top is great and I like the burner sizes better than my previous Samsung gas range. I have two issues with it: We used the AF option last night (I have a counter one that I have used often so was excited about this option when I needed to do larger quantities). The stove knobs got very warm and almost to the point on not able to touch them. Also, did not like the results of my chicken and onion rings. They were dry unlike using my Air fryer. I put in an oven thermometer and it was reading 435 when I had the oven set at 390. I haven't used bake or roast yet. Broil was fine. I will attempt a few more AF meals and will also try some baking to see the results.

Beyond Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this unit in the hopes of doing away with my electric counter top appliances. (ie) airfyer, convection and broiler unit.
I opted for self install knowing I would be doing a natural gas to liquid propane conversion. A simple online search for conversion chart to order the proper range top jets was all I needed the oven manifold jets were already made as to allow proper adjustments. Took me all of 30 minutes to get everything installed and burners set to my preferences. I'll share a secret, grab the kit number and head to ebay to save big money. Please just make sure you leak test as you make changes.
So anyway, quick install, leak tested, burners all adjusted to my cooking style and I was ready to start testing the oven features. Wowed! Airfryer crisped up fries better than my big name counter unit. Convection setting cooked a pan of cornbread to perfection. I have already given the countertop units away and won't miss them at all especially the electric usage. The center griddle burner is the frosting on the cake. My cast iron oval dutch oven wants to marry it.
Just for the record I am not a professional installer. My jet knowledge is from motorcycle carburetors over the years. I am simply a thrifty Female Senior willing to read a conversion chart and grab my tools.
