Love the Range Top and Oven

Love the look but gets unbelievably hot

I am a 10 year veteran of Frigidaire appliances and went from a smooth too electric range to this beautiful gas stove. There has been a little learning curve but overall I really like it. It looks like a professional stove and is pretty easy to clean. The gas adjusts really well from high, low, simmer and everywhere in between. I had a Frigidaire electric smooth top stove for 10 years that I loved so wanted to go with Frigidaire again. I purchased the air fry rack and another large pan to go under it and I am so glad that I did! The fries I made were really awesome! I have not tried anything else yet in the air fryer. The only thing I don’t like is that the stove gets really really REALLY hot to the touch. My old electric stove was always cool to touch, even when baking. NOT this stove. If you have little kids, this is not the stove for you. I can touch really hot things and usually don’t feel it. The other day, II had to use a towel to turn off the knobs on my stove because I could not touch them and I was only making a quick French toast. The other thing I don’t like is that the grill pan that came with it already looks 20 yrs old after only cooking French toast once. This does not add to attractiveness of the stove. Other than that, I love how the oven bakes. My cakes have risen perfectly and I cooked a mean spaghetti sauce the other day. Just hope it doesn’t melt the microwave that is over top with the heat it emits.
