Great Oven but missing Air Fry Tray

Why would Frigidaire sell an Air Fry capable oven without including an Air Fry Tray??? Not only that, there are 2+ month backorders to get. What an oversight!

Hat the air fry option

i bought this stove to get rid of the air fryer on the counter. Big mistke. Everytime I try to cook chicken wings the whole house fills with smoke they are stuck to the Frigidaire air fry pan(which take hours of scrubbing weather I spray the pan with oil or not) and then I have to do a self clean on the oven. If I make French fries the ones on the outside are burnt and the ones in the middle of the pan are raw. I wish I never bought this oven as now I have to go out and purchase a counter air fryer again

1-When using the Air Fry Tray, put a baking sheet on a rack or two below the Air Fry Tray. This keeps drips and crumbs from landing on the oven bottom, where they can burn and create smoke.
2-For additional protection, place some foil-lined parchment paper on the baking sheet. Parchment paper traps oil and keeps it from smoking.
3-Don’t overcrowd the food on your baking sheet or on the Air Fry Tray. If air can’t circulate around each item, the cooking and crisping process may slow down and allow more grease to settle or drip.

Settings for burners

We bought this range a little over a year ago. Love induction cooking. The only concern I have is that the settings for the burners can be easily turned off while cooking, if your body touches is, like your waist or that area. It does become frustrating to have to turn the burner on again, and again. i would buy Frigidaire again, but not with the controls in the front, I would buy them at the back on top. And of course, I cannot just exchange it, since it would not be financially viable for me. And the turning off of the burners is the reason for not recommending this product.

Easily damaged

Although we enjoy the functionality of the Induction range with Air Fry, we were disappointed that the black stainless steel is easily damaged.

Using a soft cloth, clean with mild dish detergent and water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Rinse with clean water, dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use appliance cleaner, stainless steel cleaner, or cleaner containing abrasives, chlorides, chlorine, or ammonia. These cleaners may damage the finish of your new range.

Make sure you purchase the extended warranty

I loved it at first. Ive had the stove for 16 months. Airfryer and convection no longer work and the oven shuts off on its own. Manufacturers warranty is only one year.

Poor Design

We’ve used the cooktop on our new gas range only a handful of times and it’s already showing signs of wear and tear due to the poor knob design. I’m wishing I went with another brand that put more thought into the craftsmanship of the focal point in our kitchen.

OVEN STOPPED WORKING AFTER 9 MONTHS -LEMON

3rd range within 1 year. 1st one knobs were all slanted - had to send a replacement. 2nd side was dented. Had to send a replacement. Now 3rd one is not working after 9 months!!

Buyer Beware

I have this gas range and won’t get into using the range since there are already lots of reviews on it although I did use the Air-fry feature once and recall that the fries were over-cooked close to one side. Anyway, this review is about two issues I dislike, one serious. First, keeping the top of this range clean is a pain. Every spill, including dust, shows up on the black paint, possibly a good thing since you will probably want to clean it after every use so that visitors don’t notice how disgusting it is. Secondly, and this is a serious issue. The knobs for the burners take very little pressure to turn. A 2-year old child could easily turn on the burner without igniting the gas. I have been renovating the kitchen lately and several times I have accidently turned the knobs while leaning over the stove. The first few times I was only alerted that something was amiss when I smelled gas. On Thursday (Oct 14, 2021) and again today (Oct 16, 2021) not only did the burners release gas, but they also lit. On Thursday I was wearing shirt that could have easily ignited and caused serious burns if it came into contact with the flames. I have been told by someone that knobs on other gas stoves take a lot more pressure to turn although I have not visited an appliance store to verify this. Buyer Beware.
